Vacation Bible School! When and Where Monday June 23rd - Friday 27th 9:00am - 12:00 noon We would like to invite you to participate in our 2008 community wide Vacation Bible School Program Friendship Trek. This year we will be setting out on an amazing hike through the Bible to meet Jesus our Forever Friend. In five sessions, kids will discover the friendship Jesus offers and do fun Bible activities, sing great songs, make crafts, and eat snacks. This adventure will start at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on June 23rd and continue to June 27th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. each day. We are inviting everyone from pre-kindergarden to students who just finished fifth grade. This VBS program will teach your child that friends are great gifts from God, and Jesus is the Greatest Friend of all! Wear your favorite hat or visor. TUESDAY, JUNE 24th Luke 7:1-10-Jesus heals the Centurion's servant. Wear a cool pair of sunglasses. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25th John 9-Jesus gives a blind man sight. Wear your favorite pair of sandals. THURSDAY, JUNE 26th John 11:1-45-Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. Wear your VBS t-shirt. FRIDAY, JUNE 27th Luke 24:36-49-Jesus died and rose. **With each registration we are asking for a canned/dried good donation to help out our friends in the community. The food will be given to the Dedham food pantry. Your donations can be brought in throughout the week of VBS. ** Thursday night will be our Vacation Bible School Program at 6:30pm. An ice cream social is planned following the service.
